General Specifications, Kobra vehicles


Our vehicles are Engineered from the ground up to produce a package that delivers superb handling and performance, unlike any other Cobra replica. They are produced with NEW components, not second hand bits and pieces.

As standard, our vehicle comprises:

The 6.0 litre, all alloy electronic fuel injected V8.
 6 speed T-56 manual transmission
Limited slip differential, 3.45:1 ratio.
Our unique chassis and body unit.
Fully independent front and rear suspension with progressive rate coil springs for superb handling and ride quality. 
343 mm front discs with 4 pot Brembo aluminium callipers.
324 mm rear discs with PBR aluminium calliper and handbrake system.
17" Halibrand replica wheels
Painted in your choice of colour.
Full Instrumentation.
Full leather interior in your selected colour.
65 litre fuel tank and original 3.5" Monza roller cap.  Rear guard mounted.
Electronic security immobiliser. 

Options are available for the driver who requires something a little more than our standard vehicle.

 

 

Specifications - Rolling Chassis Kobra

The items listed below constitute the major assemblies and parts that form the " rolling chassis". There is a host of fasteners that have not been listed, but are all supplied.

The components used in a rolling chassis are exactly the same as those used in a factory completed vehicle.

Main Body Section:

Complete body shell including intrusion bars, mounted on the chassis.

Doors:

Doors include all hinges, intrusion bars, locks, lock and striker plates and all mounting screws. Doors are  adjusted and fitted. 

Bonnet:

Bonnet includes complete hinges, catches and handles. The bonnet is adjusted and fitted.

Boot:

The boot includes complete hinges and complete lock. The boot is adjusted and fitted.

Front Inner Guards:

Inner guards fitted.

Chassis:

Our unique, high tensile steel chassis includes front & rear crumple units, lower radiator support bracket, engine and transmission mounts. The chassis is grit blasted and painted in 2 pack black polyurethane.

Front Suspension:

Complete front suspension including upper and lower wishbones, uprights, fabricated hubs, sway bar, ball joints, bushes etc are assembled and mounted. 

Steering:

          The steering rack is mounted and the assembly is complete with steering column, steering shaft and billet aluminium uni joint.

Rear Suspension:

Complete rear suspension including adjustable upper & lower wishbones is fitted.

Shock absorbers and Springs:

AVO coil over shock absorbers and progressive rate springs are fitted.

Differential:

The differential, drive shafts & CV joints are supplied and fitted.

Pedal Assembly:

Fabricated pedal assembly & balance bar supplied and fitted.

Brakes:

The assemblies are supplied with, machined hats, assembled discs, front calliper brackets, callipers and separate master cylinders for front & rear brakes. All operable.

Hand Brake:

Handbrake lever and handbrake cables are assembled and operable.

Copper Fuel Lines:

3/8" main copper fuel line, 5/16" copper carbon canister line, 5/16" fuel return line are all fitted as standard.

Lubricants:
